Title: The Facts Don’t Sell Them Selves- Persuading Your Audience Through Visualizations: Redline Forensic Studios
It’s Friday morning and you’re presenting your findings from a complex investigation to your client. You lay out the facts, your client immediately sings your praises, takes recommended actions, and promises to refer you to everyone they know. (You can wake up from your daydream now.) The reality is it takes a lot more than a recitation of facts to inspire a client or colleague to action. As an investigator, you not only need to present results and yourself with authority, but you also need to connect with your audience in a manner that earns their trust to achieve your intended impact. In this exciting interactive presentation, Brian Anders and Bree Jones will tell and show you how to engage and captivate any audience with the support of compelling narrative and imagery. Attendees will learn: 1. How to convey messages that are factual AND position you as a trusted authority. 2. The 5 elements critical for compelling persuasion.
Brian K. Anders is an entrepreneur with 25 years experience within the legal and trucking industries. He founded DELTA |v| Forensic Engineering—a prominent national leader in motor vehicle accident reconstruction—in 2004, and REDLINE Forensic Studios, a rising star in the visual storytelling space, a few years later. Brian’s current midsized business portfolio is expected to breach $12m in revenue in 2023.
Brian has spoken and moderated panels at a variety of national conferences for industry organizations including the American Bar Association, DRI, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, the Trucking Defense Advocacy Council, Truckload Carriers Association, and others. He is no stranger to high-pressure situations, whether in his life as a practicing engineer dealing with high-stakes investigations, or in the courtroom as a testifying expert with nearly 90 appearances under his belt. Brian’s dynamic communication style allows him to connect with audiences over a variety of in-person and online mediums – regardless of technical or core professional skill topics.
Brian earned both a BA and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
