Participants will learn from Judge Mann’s 20 years of experience on the bench exactly what it takes to testify successfully for your attorneys and clients.
Appointed to the bench in 2005, Judge Christy T. Mann is the senior Family Court Judge. She has presided over child custody, child support, domestic violence, and all related Family Court matters. Additionally, she has presided over criminal and family drug courts. Before becoming a judge, she was in private practice for over 20 years. For more than 15 years, Judge Mann has instructed Judges throughout the state on best practices in Family Court. In addition, she provides continuing legal education to attorneys on matters related to Family Court. Judge Mann is an active member of the Mecklenburg County Community. She serves as a volunteer at a local middle school working with at-risk children and their families. She has served on numerous non-profit organizations related to children and families. Christy is a 1985 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law.
