Tommy W. Sturdivan
Title: Investigating Motor Vehicle Crashes for your Attorney
Tommy Sturdivan is the owner of Sturdivan Collision Analysis. Sturdivan Collision Analysis is located just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee in Ringgold, Georgia. Mr. Sturdivan is a retire Sergeant of the Georgia State Patrol, where he was duel certified as a Trooper and a Federal Roadside Safety Inspector, with 32 years of credible service. During his career with the Georgia State Patrol, he was an original member of the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT). He was promoted to Sergeant, and over the accident and reconstruction training, while on the SCRT. He is a POST Instructor and has taught at various conferences and agencies across the country. He was involved in the Forensic Mapping of the Crime Scene at the Noble Crematory Case in Noble, Georgia in 2002, and involved in the investigation of the 137-vehicle fog crash in Ringgold, Georgia in 2002, as well as assisted in various crash reconstructions in other states at the direction of the Georgia State Patrol. Mr. Sturdivan is the current President of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialist (NAPARS) the largest Accident Reconstruction Association in the world with over 1700 members in thirty-two countries, where he has held that position for 8 years. He is a member of SAE, as well as a member of the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (ITAI) in the UK and the European Association for Accident Research and Analysis, and many other Associations across the United States. His experience in accident reconstruction covers over 34 years in the law enforcement and private communities.
