He began his career in the public sector, serving in both local and federal law enforcement, where he earned a reputation for integrity, precision, and results-driven investigations.

Jay is a Board Accredited Investigator and holds advanced professional certifications, including Certified Criminal Defense Investigator (CCDI) and Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI – FTER). These credentials reflect his commitment to the highest standards of investigative excellence, ethical practice, and continuous professional development. His experience spans complex civil and criminal matters, litigation support, intelligence gathering, and strategic investigative planning.

A recognized leader within the investigative community, Jay was most recently appointed as a Director on the National Council of Investigation & Security Services (NCISS) and serves as National Secretary for the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI). He is also a former President of the Florida Association of Private Investigators (FAPI) and maintains active membership in several respected professional organizations, including the World Association of Detectives (WAD).

As President and CEO of Specialized Investigations Consultants, Jay leads a multi-disciplinary investigative firm with three strategically located offices across Florida, enabling the team to deliver responsive, localized, and discreet services throughout the state and beyond.
