Investigator Smith conducts legal investigations in Denver, Colorado Springs and throughout the state of Colorado. Investigator Smith conducts a variety of legal and surveillance based investigations, and has worked on cases that range from 1st Degree Murder, Sex Assault, and a variety of other Felonies and Misdemeanors. Investigator Smith specializes in interviews, comprehensive investigations, locating witnesses, surveillance, undercover work, and serving complex process.
Investigator Smith attended Mercyhurst University’s Institute for Intelligence Studies, where he earned a BA in Intelligence Studies and a minor in the Arabic language. While at Mercyhurst, Investigator Smith was honored as a Horatio Alger Military Scholar. Investigator Smith earned an M.S.Ed. from the Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and has completed diminutive PhD. coursework at the University of Colorado.
Prior to becoming a private investigator, Investigator Smith served in the United States Army from 1999 to 2004. Investigator Smith served in the 4th Infantry Division and the 43rd ASG. While on active duty, Investigator Smith served in Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
His awards include: The Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal (2); Army Good Conduct Medal; Overseas Service Ribbon; Iraq Campaign Medal (2 Bronze Star Devices); Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device; and Army Service Ribbon.
