Toby Braun has over 12 years of combined professional experience in criminal investigations, international investigations, fugitive operations, public safety management, undercover operations, international security consulting, diplomatic affairs, complex litigation support, covert surveillance, special weapons & tactics and executive protection.
Braun is a multi-state licensed and board-certified professional investigator, as well as a certified and highly experienced international investigator & security expert/consultant specializing in complex solutions for government agencies, law firms and corporations. As such, he holds the position of managing partner for American Special Investigative Group, a national professional investigations, security consulting and private intelligence firm. Braun is fluent in English, German and French and has spent a significant time of his career working various assignments in international jurisdictions including South & Central America, Europe, the Middle East and in several African nations.
In his free time, he volunteers for the Anti-Predator Project (APP); a registered 501(c)3 and licensed investigative agency. As part of APP, Braun specializes in criminal investigations into individuals and organizations that are involved in human trafficking, the location and forceful recovery of American children that have been kidnapped or sold on the black market, witness/victim protection, and missing children. In addition, Braun serves as an advisor to several high-level executives of law enforcement & government agencies and as a law enforcement instructor.
He belongs to several professional state and global organizations including the Texas, California and Florida Associations of Licensed Investigators, the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, the Council of International Investigators and the World Association of Detectives
